The American Abdominal Acupuncture Medical Association is a national academic, non-profit organization formed by a group of American acupuncture professionals in August of 2007 and is located in the state of California, United States of America.
In the early days of its foundation, the association was supported and recognized by Professor Zhiyun Bo, who discovered the treatment methods of abdominal acupuncture and served as its first president. Today, the association is guided and supervised by Professor Bo and the Committee of Chinese Acupuncture Society.
This associations intent is three-fold. It hopes (1) to link together acupuncture professionals who are interested in or are currently practicing abdominal acupuncture in the United States. (2) Along with promoting the science of abdominal acupuncture and its benefits across the United States, its intent is also (3) to exchange and share knowledge among all acupuncture professionals and academics around the globe.
We will post seminar and class schedules to keep the membership aware of all
educational opportunities available through AAAMA.
Seminars and academic exchanges will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Professor Zhiyun Bo.
