Dr. Xiaomei (May) Zhang, O.M.D., Dipl.Ac, L.Ac
Doctor Xiaomei (May) Zhang was formally trained in China as an M.D. and Acupuncturist and has over 30 years of experience.  While still in China, she held the positions of Executive Director and Physician in Charge at Mudanjiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Director of Yantai Sanatorium under the Ministry of Forestry, Deputy Chief Physician of Chinese Medicine of Qinhuangdao Health Workers Association, Hebei Province.  After opening her practice here in the United States, she also earned a doctorate in Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.)  She has held memberships and appointments in numerous medical associations and organizations, along with publishing dozens of articles.

Dr. Zhang continues to be involved in promoting the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine and how both TCM and Western Medicine can work together to benefit the health and well-being of all patients.  Dr. Zhang remains a practicing acupuncturist in her clinic in Temecula, California, along with studying BMAA under the tutelage of Professor Zhiyun Bo.
